The Phoenix Mercury is a professional women’s basketball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. Established in 1997, the Mercury is one of the founding teams of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team has won three WNBA Championships, in 2007, 2009, and 2014.
The Mercury plays its home games at Footprint Center, located in downtown Phoenix. The team is known for its dynamic play and has been a significant force in the league, boasting several star players throughout its history.
