The Connecticut Sun is a professional women’s basketball team based in Uncasville, Connecticut. Established in 2003, the team is a member of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Sun has enjoyed several successful seasons, including reaching the WNBA Finals in 2004 and 2019, though they have yet to win a championship.
The team plays its home games at Mohegan Sun Arena, which is located on the Mohegan Indian Reservation in Uncasville. The Connecticut Sun is known for its strong performance and dedicated fan base.
